Julian Rouas Paris

I was on the fence when this fashion line initially debuted, because I didn't care much for the lower end fashions. It appeared that Gwen was following down the same path as other entertainers turned designers such as J. Lo and Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen had gone in marketing their fashion designs. Their designs seem destined to stay in the lower end department stores such as Marshall, TJ Maxx and Target. However, when Gwen Stefani began offering a more polished or couture line of clothing, handbags and accessories, the world stood up and took notice.

Those of you who don't know what L.A.M.B is let e give you a brief history on the designer who inspired the fashion line, Ms. Gwen Stefani:

Born Gwen Renee Stefani on 10/3/1969 in Fullerton, California, she first came on the scene as the front woman for band, No Doubt, who her brother Eric formed in 1986. Prior to joining No Doubt she worked at the local Diary Queen. Talk about your rages to riches story!

In 1996 Gwen met and began dating Gavin Rosedale and on September 14, 2002 the two musicians tied the knot. Gwen then launched her solo career in 2004 and her 1st solo single, "What you waiting for?" debuted at number one on the Australian singles chart. In 2005, her release of "Hollaback girl" hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 list just 6 weeks after it was released therefore cementing her status as recording superstar!

Gwen's certified platinum, double and multi platinum projects include, "What you waiting for, Rich girl and Hollaback girl. Gwen increased her star power by launching her own fashion line in 2004 and a L.A.M.B was born.

L.A.M.B stands for Love, Angel, Music, Baby, I suppose that defines her life as her love for her family, the fact that she has the face of an angel, her solid position in the music world and the birth of her baby Kingston. That's the L.A.M.B. interpretation based on the Gospel of Karen.

Although I love her clothing line, I would have to admit that I simply adore her handbags and accessories the most. The styles are upscale and fashionable, but still very practical. I love the quality of the materials used to construct the items and the price can't be beat for high end designer fashion.

Gwen's signature icon on her L.A.M.B. designs is none other thing the shape of a sweet little lamb. The symbol of the lamb means something completely different to me and holds a special place in my heart. New and future mommies will absolutely fall in love with the L.A.M.B. infant wear and the toddler shoes are must haves for the playground this spring and summer season.

You can shop for L.A.M.B. fashion and accessories online or at high end stores such as Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom's and many others. Gwen Stefani has managed to really have it all! She's successfully juggled a family, a career and fashion line. Congratulations Gwen and keep the fashion's coming!
